ANINDYA JYOTI MAJUMDAR, M.A., PhD [School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi], is Professor of Strategic Studies in the Department of International Relations at Jadavpur University, Kolkata. A former Dean of Faculty of Arts, and the present Director of the School of International Relations and Strategic Studies at Jadavpur University, Dr. Majumdar has also taught at the Richard Walker Institute of International and Area Studies, University of South Carolina, USA, under the Fulbright-Nehru Academic and Professional Excellence Fellowship program. Dr. Majumdar has attended a number of national and international academic schedules at home and abroad and contributed research papers to journals and compendiums. He has also authored and edited books on foreign policy, security issues, forced migration and international relations.
