SIMANT, M.Tech (CAD/CAM), is Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Northern India Engineering College, Lucknow. He has eight years of teaching experience and has authored a book on advanced strength of materials.
R. C. MISHRA (PhD) was Director, Aryavart Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow. Earlier was Professor and Head, Department of Engineering and Mining Machinery, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. During his life time he was actively engaged in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students of engineering for more than 30 years. He had considerable research work to his credit in the field of maintenance engineering and reliability assessment of mining equipment.
