G.S.L.H.V. PRASADA RAO, Ph.D., is Professor and Head, Department of Agricultural Meteorology, College of Horticulture, Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), Vellanikkara, Thrissur, Kerala. Earlier, he served as Associate Dean, College of Horticulture, and Director (Academic & PG Studies) of KAU. Dr. Rao has three decades of experience in teaching, research and extension work in agricultural meteorology. He has authored a number of books, research papers, and articles on the subject.
