SITESH KUMAR ROY, Ph.D., is Chief Investigator of DRDO projects with Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics (IRPE), Calcutta. Formerly a Professor in IRPE, he successfully developed indigenous millimeter wave IMPATT diodes and sources. He has obtained patents for Govt. of India on IMPATT oscillators and amplifiers. He has published more than one hundred research papers in various national and international journals.
MONOJIT MITRA, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur. He has also worked as a visiting faculty at Jadavpur University and University of Calcutta. He has more than 15 years of research experience in the field of fabrication of microwave IMPATT device and the development of source for microwave communication, including satellite communication. A member of Institution of Engineers (India) and IETE, Dr. Mitra has contributed to several national and international journals. He has also authored two books including Microwave Semiconductor Devices published by PHI Learning.
