C.M. GOVIL, PhD (Agra University), was Professor Emeritus in the Department of Botany at CCS University, Meerut. He had also been the Head of the Department at the same university. An alumnus of Agra University, he had an overwhelming 37 years of teaching experience. Dr. C.M. Govil had been honoured with Prof. V. Puri Gold Medal and had been the President of Indian Science Congress (Plant Science Section) in the year 2002. He had also been a UGC Philippine Visiting Professor and an I.N.S.A. Royal Society Exchange Fellow. In his lifetime, Dr. Govil also authored a book titled Gymnosperms, Extinct and Extant.


ASHOK AGGARWAL, PhD (Kurukshetra University), is Professor of Botany and Former Chairman in the Department of Botany at Kurukshetra University, Haryana. Dr. Ashok Aggarwal has a teaching experience of 29 years and is a member of various scientific and academic bodies at national level. He has published more than 190 research and review articles in national and international journals of repute. He has authored many books in the area of Plant Pathology.


JITENDER SHARMA, PhD (Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar), is Professor of Biotechnology and Former Chairman, Department of Biotechnology at Kurukshetra University, Haryana. Having a teaching experience of 21 years and 2 years of professional experience in the industry, he is currently a member of various scientific and academic bodies at national level. Dr. Sharma has been awarded with DBT, Government of India, Overseas Associateship 2008–09, and MEXT Scholarship in Biotech by the Government of Japan in 2004. He has published more than 90 research papers in national and international journals.
