PRABODH K. MAITI, PhD, was the former Emeritus Scientist and Joint Director of Zoological Survey of India, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India. Also, he had been the Principal Investigator of research projects of Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (one on MAB). With four decades of research experience, Dr. P.K. Maiti has published more than hundred articles and research papers. A Fellow of Zoological Society, Kolkata, and a life member of Zoological Society, Kolkata, he has also authored two books and eight monographs.
PAULAMI MAITI, PhD, is Associate Professor, Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata. She has more than twenty eight years of research experience and twenty years of teaching experience. Dr. Paulami Maiti is the life member of Indian Science Association, Kolkata and member of the Executive Council of the Zoological Society, Kolkata. She has published numerous articles and research papers in journals of national and international repute and presented research papers in several seminars and conferences.
