Alka Chadha, Ph.D. in Economics (National University of Singapore), is Associate Professor, Economics and Business Environment, Indian Institute of Management Sirmaur. She was previously with Indian Institute of Management Sambalpur. She has also been faculty member (Economics) at the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli. She was earlier teaching at the
NUS Business School, National University of Singapore. She has completed her B.A. (Hons) Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and M.A. Economics from Delhi School of Economics.
Her teaching interests include Microeconomics, Game Theory, Indian Economy and Policy and Economics of Innovation. Her research areas focus on Innovation, Pharmaceuticals, Health Care, Internationalization and FDI. She has published her work in international refereed journals including World Development, Industrial and Corporate Change, Economic Modelling and Applied Economics.
