Joshua Earnest Ph.D. an Electrical Engineer has a long experience of 42 years, which includes the initial 6 years in the industry and the remaining 36 years as a professor at NITTTR, Bhopal. In addition to training of engineering faculty across the country and overseas, he has worked in various areas of engineering education specialising in Curriculum Development, Student Assessment, Laboratory Instruction, Online and Offline Instructional System Design and Development. Apart from books and modules, a number of papers related to these areas have been published at national and international conferences and journals. His other area of specialisation is wind power technology with two popular books to his credit—Wind Power Plants and Project Development and Wind Power Technology, published by PHI Learning. He is the pioneer of online training in wind power since 2004. He has also been a Wind Power resource expert to Gotland (now Uppsala) University, Sweden, LIFE Academy, Karlstad, Sweden, University of Namibia, Windhoek and China Electric Research Institute, Beijing, China.


TORE WIZELIUS is a Wind Power Consultant, who has authored nine books on wind power (in Swedish and English). While working as a lecturer at Gotland University (now Uppsala University) from 1998–2008 Tore Wizelius developed a number of online distance education university courses and also courses on wind power for technical university teachers in India, in cooperation with Prof. Joshua Earnest.

Tore Wizelius has a wide experience in wind power development around the world, not only from a technological point of view, but also from energy policy, spatial planning and project development. He has a special interest in socio-technical aspects and community power projects that benefit the local communities where the wind power plants are installed.
