Late A.P. SINHA (PhD) served as Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Burdwan University, West Bengal. During his brilliant academic career of over 35 years, he published several research papers in national and international journals. He played a pivotal role in establishing the chemical engineering department in the erstwhile Regional Engineering College (Durgapur), now known as NIT Durgapur.

PARAMESWAR DE (PhD) is Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Calcutta. He has over 27 years of teaching experience and is a life member of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, ISEC and the Indian Chemical Society. Professor De’s areas of interest include mass transfer, hydrodynamics in multiphase flow, biochemical engineering and reaction engineering.


PARAMESWAR DE (PhD) is Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Calcutta. He has over 27 years of teaching experience and is a life member of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, ISEC and the Indian Chemical Society.
