J. P. SHARMA, D.Phil., has been the Director of Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science, Rajkot and the Principal of Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering, Ahmedabad. A gold medalist in M.Sc., he has taught mathematics in several engineering colleges for more than 38 years. Dr. Sharma is a life member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), the Computer Society of India (CSI) and Gujarat Ganit Mandal. He has also served as a member of the American Mathematical Society and a reviewer of Mathematical Reviews. His research works include convergence and approximation problems of general orthogonal expansion.
MAHESH A. YEOLEKAR is Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Head of the Department at Hasmukh Goswami College of Engineering, Ahmedabad. He has more than five years of teaching experience.
