C. S. INDULKAR, Ph.D., has been Professor of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi as well as Visiting Professor, University of Technology, Papua New Guinea. Prof. Indulkar has more than four decades of experience of teaching electrical engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has written a number of books on electrical engineering, and has published and presented a large number of research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He has been on the Editorial Board of International Journal of Electrical Power and Energy Systems, and a reviewer of a number of international and national journals.


D.P. KOTHARI, Ph.D., is presently Chairman, Board of Governers, THDC Institute of Hydropower Engineering and Technology, Uttarakhand. Earlier he served as Vice-Chancellor of VIT University, Vellore and Director-General of VITS, Indore. He also served as Director-in-Charge, IIT Delhi (2005), Deputy Director (Administration), IIT Delhi (2003–2006), Principal, VNIT, Nagpur (1997–1998) and Head, Centre for energy Studies, IIT Delhi (1995–1997) and Director-Research, S.B. Jain Institute of Technology and Research, Nagpur (2016–2017)

Dr. Kothari fields of specialization include optimal hydro-thermal scheduling, unit commitment, maintenance scheduling, energy conservation, and power quality and energy systems planning and modelling. A recipient of several national award Dr. Kothari has contributed extensively to these areas, guided 48 Ph.D.s and 65 M.Tech.s, authored 42 books on Power Systems and allied areas, and published/presented 780 research papers in various national and international journals/conferences.


K. RAMALINGAM, Ph.D., is Managing Director, Super Airport Infrastructure (India), and Independent Director on the Board of CIAL Aviation Academy, Cochin International Airport. Earlier, he was Executive Director (IT) and Regional Executive Director (Southern Region), Airports Authority of India. Dr. Ramalingam has nearly four decades of professional experience. He has written a number of books, and has published and presented a large number of research papers in national and international journals and conferences. He holds fellowships and memberships of various professional bodies.
