P. BALACHANDRAN, Ph.D., is a Senior Scientist and Divisional Head in Indian Space Research Organisation. Earlier, he has worked as an Assistant Professor at TKM College of Engineering, University of Kerala, for about 12 years. He has over 30 years of teaching and research experience. Dr. Balachandran is a member of various scientific bodies in India. He has published a number of research papers in international journals. Besides fluid dynamics, his areas of interest include combustion, heat transfer and refrigeration.
