“The book is extremely useful to students and teachers having interest in the design and innovation in processes of metal production as well as its characterization. The book is written in an easy to understand style, thereby enabling one to understand the fundamentals of metallurgical processes with reference to the physic-chemical properties and flow of the substance(s) involved therein. Since long back, a need for such book might be experienced by so many academicians and the book is nothing but, an attempt in the direction.
