
FATIK BARAN MANDAL, Ph.D., is former Principal of Bankura Christian College. He has served as a faculty member, academic administrator, and researcher. He has published six books, most of which have appeared in editions, and more than 128 articles and research papers in reputed journals and other media. He is associated with several journals as a reviewer, an Associate Editor, or an Editorial Board Member.
NIMAI CHANDRA SAHA (M.Sc., Ph.D., D.Sc.) is an environmental scientist and Vice Chancellor of Harichand Guruchand University in West Bengal. With over four decades of experience, his career reflects research, institutional governance, and higher education policymaking.
Prof. Saha has held apex positions, including two terms as Vice Chancellor of the University of Burdwan (2016–2023) and two terms as Director of Public Instruction (DPI) of the Government of West Bengal. He also served as Professor, Principal, Dean of Science, and Director at higher education institutes in West Bengal, including Presidency College.
Prof. Saha's research contributions in Fisheries Science, Ecology, Environmental Science, and Aquatic Toxicology span over 40 years. He has supervised 19 Ph.D. scholars and published over 220 articles in high-impact journals. He is a Fellow of several learned societies and has also served as a Visiting Professor at Seoul National University, Korea.
