PANDEY, MANAS

MANAS PANDEY, M.Com., Ph.D., is Professor in the Department of Business Economics, Faculty of Management Studies, VBS Purvanchal University, Jaunpur. He has obtained his graduation and postgraduation from BHU and Ph.D. from MG Kashi Vidyapith. His research interests primarily revolve around the areas of finance, business economics, international trade and entrepreneurship. He has also been the Head of Department of Business Economics and the Dean of Faculty of Management Studies,VBSPU, Jaunpur. He has a brilliant academic career and a recipient of the University Grants Commission's 'National Merit Scholarship'. He has been awarded a Silver Medal for being the 'Best Business Academic of the Year' in All India Commerce Conference, 2008 and has been made a 'Fellow of Indian Commerce Association' in 2009. He has published more than two dozen research papers and five books, addition to a number of National and International Conferences, seminars, workshops and courses. He is actively engaged in research and thus far thirteen research scholars have been awarded Ph.D. under his supervision and two research scholars have been awarded D.Litt. under his advisorship. He has also completed a UGC funded major research project on Industrial Entrepreneurship. He is also the Chief Editor of the Business Vision Journal and Course Editor of the Business Economics of BBA Programme of MG Chitrakoot Gramodaya Vishwavidyalaya and Security Analysis of PGDIS Programme of Hyderabad Central University. He has been nominated as a NAAC Mentor and Anchor of the management programme for developing the syllabus for UG and PG courses as per NEP–2020 by the Higher Education Department of Uttar Pradesh Government.
