SAMIR DEY, is the Dean of Research and Development at JIS University, Kolkata, and is also an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics at the same University. He has more than 21 years of teaching experience and about 15 years of research experience.
He obtained his M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and Ph.D. (Science) in Mathematics from IIEST, Shibpur and his M.Tech. in Operations Research from the NIT, Durgapur.
Dr. Dey has authored 5 books, edited 10 books, contributed 5 book chapters, and published 40+ research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences. His research interests include Data Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Soft Computing, and Fuzzy Optimization Techniques.
DIBYENDU BANERJEE, is a Data Scientist and AI–ML professional with 20 + years of industry experience. As a Senior Architect at a global technology organization, he leads large-scale digital transformation initiatives and end-to-end Data Science projects, converting complex business challenges into scalable, data-driven solutions. An accomplished Data Scientist, he has co-authored multiple published books on AI–ML, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI, widely appreciated for their practical, learner-focused approach
Alongside his industry leadership, Dibyendu actively contributes to academia as a Member of the Board of Studies, he plays a key role in designing industry-aligned, contemporary curricula for Data Science and AI–ML programs—bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry needs. Also, he is a member of Board of Studies, Department of Mathematics at JIS University, Kolkata.
SOURAV KAIRI, is a Software Engineer and an AI and ML professional with strong academic and industry credentials. He holds an M.Tech in Data and Computational Science from IIT Jodhpur. Being a data science expert and having hands-on expertise in applied AI technologies, Sourav works at a Tier-1 IT company, contributing to AI and data-driven solutions. Alongside his industry role, he actively contributes to academia as a Member of the Board of Studies at a leading engineering institution and serves as a Guest Lecturer in the SOLA Department at IIT Jodhpur. As a co-author of the books in AI–ML, he actively bridges advanced research concepts with practical industry insights and accessible learning for students.
